Gypsy Rose Blanchard started a new phase of life after she gave birth to her daughter Aurora. The diva had her entire birth journey planned, but as we say, each child is different. Aurora had plans of her own, and even her parents were shocked by it. Gypsy became a mom for the first time and was extremely scared about child delivery. She added that her birth experience was excellent. She did not anticipate that her experience would be so different.
The 33-year-old is preparing for season two of her show, Life After Lock Up, and has shared many details with People. Her daughter is now 8 weeks old. She and her partner, Ken Urker, further talked in detail about Aurora and even revealed their birth story. Gypsy opened up about who her daughter takes after. Moreover, the diva added that her daughter came earlier than her expected due date, but the journey was very smooth.

Gypsy Rose and her boyfriend, Ken, announced their pregnancy in July 2024. Ever since they have been very excited about their baby. Much before their daughter was born, they revealed her name. The couple further shared that they want to name their daughter Aurora. The couple also revealed why they chose the name.
Gypsy and Ken explained that they love the Northern Lights called Aurora Borealis. Furthermore, fans loved the name. The couple welcomed Aurora on December 28, 2024. Gypsy and Ken haven’t yet shared any photos of their baby. They explained that they want privacy for their baby and have decided not to share her pictures online.
Gypsy Rose Talks In Details About Her Birth Story And Daughter’s Features
Gypsy and her partner are coming back with season two of their reality show. The couple welcomed their daughter Aurora in December. Talking about her birth story, Aurora shared that she started dilating at 34 weeks. So, her OBGYN was keeping a close look at her. Every week, they used to go for doctor visits. On the 36th week, Gypsy Rose’s water partially broke, and they rushed to the doctor. She was already five and a half, six centimeters, so the doctors were ready to deliver.
Blanchard further added that she went ahead, and the doctor gave her the epidural and the Pitocin drip. The process was very fast, and she did not feel any pain. They gave her a numbing injection, and when she pushed, it was not painful. Within 15 minutes of pushing, her baby was born. Interestingly, Aurora was born exactly a year after Blanchard was released from Chillicothe Correctional Facility.
Gupsy added that seeing her daughter grow is an amazing feeling. She feels like Aurora looks like both her parents. She has Ken’s stubbornness and is very firm. Gypsy has already started showing her character traits, and seeing her develop is very interesting. The diva further added that Aurora loves to cuddle and smile.
