Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s life hasn’t been easy. Everyone thought that the worst was when she had to serve a ten-year prison sentence for the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. After all, she was an accomplice as her boyfriend at the time, Nick Godejohn, carried it out. However, her life continues to be hard as she has finally stepped out of prison on parole after serving seven years.
Currently, Gypsy is documenting all the hights and lows of her life in her very own show, Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup. After a very successful first season, she has made a return with a second edition. In a new episode, the star got candid and vulnerable. Gypsy talked about her anxiety and how the hate around her has only elevated it. She even feared getting murdered during her book signing event!

In the new episode of Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup, she was preparing to show up at a bookstore for a meet and greet event. She was doing so to promote her memoir, ‘My Time To Stand.‘ The bookstore and Gypsy’s manager Mike Stanfield decided to involve local authorities. It’s because they kept getting “tips” about some people trying to cause a “disruption” at the event.
That’s not all. The bookstore also got a funeral wreath, a type of flower arrangement usually sent when someone has died. The card on it said it was for “Claudine and Gypsy Blanchard,” the former referring to her mother Dee Dee (whose real name was Clauddine). Hence, the bookstore decided to call in the cops. They wanted them to look into this matter. After all, it was downright creepy to have such things get sent to Gypsy.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard expressed having anxiety ahead of the upcming meet and greet function for her book. She said it was scary to have “trolls online crossed into the real world.” The reality TV star didn’t want to put herself at risk through situations where people would know where she would be and at what time. Gypsy was more concerned due to her pregnancy because of “carrying an innocent life.”

The star from Life After Lockup said that it was hard to be a carrier when people “wanted to see her fail or hurt her, or wanted to harm her.” Despite Gypsy’s manager Stanfield assured her and Ken that there would be tons of security, the latter still contemplated going through with things. Her boyfriend didn’t want to put her in a situation where harm might come her way, even if it was verbal harassment.
Gypsy also noticed that she had never done something like this before, where she had revealed the time and location of where she would be. She said this was how “people got murdered.” However, when Gypsy saw the amount of people that came to support her. The star was fearful at first after seeing all the online hate and trolling. But she happily talked about “getting through with it.”
The star credited the book staff for “making it safe” for her. Gypsy said it was nice to see genuine supporters. One of the ladies also told her that she had also gone through something similar.
