However, this time, it is the number of flights taken in their private jets that have left massive carbon footprints, making them the talk of the town. The surprising part here is that the supermodels took flights for distances of only 15 minutes in their private jets.
According to the reports, Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian own private jets costing around $150 million and $73 million, respectively. They have used their posh private jets to take several flights. Most of them were in foreign locations. However, the data shows that the sisters have taken more than 114 flights since January 2023. Surprisingly, some of them were close to Los Angeles.
That’s why people on the internet are slamming Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner for contributing to environmental problems. Moreover, they are also questioning the need to take private jets to such locations. That could have been covered by a road trip and saved a lot of fuel as well.
While the rumors say that they have only taken 69 trips, Tech wizard Jack Sweeney presents the raw stats. His prime motive is to expose the rich and luxurious lifestyle of famous celebrities. In his latest report, Jack Sweeney revealed that Kim Kardashian’s Gulfstream G650 has made approximately 100 trips since January 2023.
Sweeney also declares that the private jet traveled 146,097 miles and used 119,570 gallons of fuel. According to this data, Kardashian’s jet produced 1,308 metric tons of carbon footprints.
Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner’s Bombardier Global 75000 shows that it has made a minimum of 45 trips of 76,548 miles. This would mean the usage of about 78,510 gallons of fuel and the production of carbon footprints was up to 893 metric tons. According to the data, the sisters have made many journeys from LA’s Van Nuys Airport to Camarillo Airport and vice versa.
Interestingly, the distance between the two is only 35 miles. Some people had also noticed that Kim Kardashian went to Paris Fashion Week and returned to LA the following day. Just to attend Jeff Bezos’ 60th birthday party. Is it worth enough?
