Prince William Wants To Support King Charles
Royal sources have stated that King Charles and Prince William are ‘closer than ever’ amid issues with other members of the family. The King took part in D-Day commemorative events this week. The monarch has developed good relations with his elder son. The duo were pictured seemingly united as they shared royal duties in Normandy.
As per sources, the monarch was once unhappy for his elder son as to how he was visible in public. However, with ongoing cancer treatment and the lack of working royals to hand, he is glad to embrace this change.
Along with this, Harry and Meghan stepping down from royal duties and the withdrawal from public life has left His Majesty with fewer royals on duty. As per sources close to the King, he has begun consulting Prince William on complex family issues.
They have joined forces to handle these issues, which have boosted both their personal and working relationship. The source further told The Times, “If there was ever a green-eyed monster or a sense of rivalry between the two, that is in past. The King sees his son as a useful ally on family matters.”
While King is happy with his son, a source close to William also wants to support his father. He said, “He very much wants to support his father. That isn’t something new. But of course, with everything the King is going through with his treatment. He will continue to support him as much as he can.”
Moreover, the father-son duo will soon be seen together at more events this summer. For more updates on the royal family, stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers!
