It’s been a while since things changed in the Little People Big World family. The couple that fans had watched for years split up and started their separate lives. The Roloff matriarch Amy Roloff is soon marrying her new love interest, Chris Marek. On the other hand, her ex-husband and LPBW dad Matt is in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler. Well, it seems like they might tie the knots soon too. Matt has been trying to build a new house for his potential wife. However, that would mean that he’s moving out of the Roloff Farms soon.
Little People Big World: Matt Is Building A New House For Caryn, Is Marriage On The Cards?
It was only a few months ago when we saw Caryn buying her new expensive house. Matt posted several social media posts related to this and said that he was proud of his new girlfriend. However, it seems like the two of them are already ready for a new house. The TLC star calls it the “dream house” and possibly intends to live in it alongside Chandler. Well, he has previously mentioned wanting to build the house, and the work has finally started.
Matt Roloff recently uploaded a picture of him finally sitting on a “wood-mizer LT40wide” that he had been waiting for nine months. He explains that this is an incredible piece of equipment and is used to make lumber for building things. He looks certainly happy in his smiling picture and ready to start working on his dream home. Well, it looks like he’s happier to stand at the altar again with his loving girlfriend.
Little People Big World: Is Matt Moving Out Of The Roloff Farms After Marrying Caryn?
Matt and Amy, who were married for 30-long-years, have been divorced since 2016. However, the ex-wife only moved out and sold off her shares last year. Caryn and Amy initially had their differences but now have neutral feelings against each other and were even seen together at family gatherings. Yet, Caryn has always rejected the idea of living at the Roloff farms where her boyfriend’s ex lived. She believes the place has too many memories of them and doesn’t want to visit them. Hence, she’s been living away and even bought her own house recently.
Matt and Caryn are finally building their own new house now. Well, given that they’re both building it together, it’s obvious that they are also planning to live there together. Hence, it’s certain that the house might not be at the farm and somewhere away from it. On the other hand, speculations say that Matt could be planning to retire sometime in 2022, alongside his girlfriend. Hence, the two of them might move in together, and the Little People Big World dad will move out of the farm.
Well, it’s also likely that Matt and Caryn might tie the knots before or soon after moving into their dream house. A while ago, when the couple was asked when they are getting married, they implied that they “don’t want to step on Amy and Chris’ excitement.” This currently looks like the only reason why Matt is not proposing to her long-time girlfriend. Amy and Chris are tying the knots sometime in August 2021. Hence, Matt might take the step after that happens. In fact, given that they might be planning to retire in 2022, the wedding date might be finalized sometime around that time.
