However, as Amy moved away, she also did not attend the famous Pumpkin season with her ex-husband and children. Luckily, this time, she will be back to business alongside Matt. Little People Big World: Matt Says He Missed Amy Last Year
It has been a while since we all saw Matt and Amy’s dramatic divorce play out. Things slowly got better as the two of them walked their separate ways with new partners. Amy is all set to step into another marriage, while the LPBW patriarch might propose to his long-time girlfriend anytime soon. Amid all of this, the couple’s business was at stake. Even though Amy has sold off her property on the Roloff Farms to her ex-husband, she still has a role to play in the business. Hence, after missing the Pumpkin season last year, she is back to pick up her responsibilities.
Amy and Matt were seen planning for the upcoming (2020) Pumpkin season in an exclusive video from the new season by HollywoodLife. The two of them got together to talk about how the event will take place safely during the pandemic. Amy expressed that she felt different getting on the farm this time. This is because she’s not the owner anymore, and it doesn’t feel like her home anymore. On the contrary, Matt was quite satisfied to see his ex-wife back at the event.
He mentioned that it was tough to manage the event last year all by himself. Moreover, he continued, “We missed her, and we wanted her there,” yet the family understood. Hence, this year, Amy will be back to play her old role in managing the event and greeting people. Matt was satisfied that she will become kind of “the face of the family” again. Well, this was only because of the Little People Big World family tradition of holding the Pumpkin event. However, fans were extremely uncomfortable to hear Matt saying he “missed” her, even though he said it for the entire family.
Little People Big World: Amy Feels Like A Guest At The Farm, Just Here For Business
Even though Matt and Amy have been treating each other like friends post their divorce, things haven’t been that comfortable. In fact, we recently saw how much criticism Amy received for still having sour feelings towards her ex. Amid all this, Matt still understands his ex-wife and has a sense that she is important for the business and his family. Amy, on the other hand, has a different perspective of the farm now. Since she’s not the owner anymore and the place isn’t hers, the Little People Big World star thinks that her involvement in the Pumpkin season is only for business.
Amy also feels like she’s just a guest on the farm now. On the other hand, we previously saw her struggling to move to a city environment after spending half of her life at the farm. Well, as of now, we can only hope that things get better for her in the near future.
