Love Island has always been must-watch TV, packed with wild recouplings, bombshell entrances, and dramatic exits that keep fans hooked. But lately, it’s not just villa drama making headlines. Stuff happening in Islanders’ real lives outside the show keeps spilling over too. Season 13 of the UK version proved that big time.
Recently, another cast member, Garland, left the villa, sparking a lot of buzz. A resurfaced past case caused his sudden exit from the show. After lying low for weeks, Garland’s finally breaking his silence. He is setting the record straight and explaining what actually happened in the case. Keep reading for more updates.

Love Island UK is back, and the drama’s already off the charts. New faces Lorenzo Alessi, Simba Kudyiwa, and Jasmine Muller have got everyone talking. Then Casa Amor newbies Mara Pirez and Julia Majchrzak turned up and stirred the pot even more. Fans online can’t agree on who’s the most divisive Islander this year. A few challenges have given the cast a taste of what the public thinks, but they’re still missing the full story.
Movie Night spills the secrets and friendship blow-ups. Honestly, few nights hit harder. Movie Night always lands right after Casa Amor, timed to blow up any shaky new couples. This year, Movie Night will premiere on Sunday, 5th July, with ITV already dropping hints on 3rd July for the hype. There will be tears, tension, and some serious fallout once the secrets come out, which could turn the whole villa upside down.
Love Island UK Season 13 has kept fans hooked with plenty of drama, shocking recouplings, and a wave of exits from the Mallorca villa. George Knight left on Day 5 after using offensive language, while islander Gabriel Garland was removed on Day 24 over his alleged involvement in a stabbing.
Now, Garland is breaking his silence. In an Instagram video posted Friday, July 3, he said he has no criminal record and that a judge cleared him of wrongdoing. He explained that the incident happened years ago, at a party when he was still a teenager, calling it traumatic for everyone involved.
Garland stressed that the legal system found no fault on his part. He said leaving Love Island UK was disappointing, especially since he’d built a strong connection with someone in the villa. He wanted fans to hear the truth directly from him, rather than through headlines. Garland entered the villa during a Casa Amor twist, but producers edited his scenes once the case came to light.
Court filings connect him to an altercation involving Vitor Mazzer, convicted of harming two victims in 2019. Garland was never convicted himself. Meanwhile, across the pond, two Love Island USA Season 8 stars have faced their own exits. Casa Amor bombshell Alannah Keyser was removed after a resurfaced video showed her using a racial slur, while Vasana Montgomery was pulled before the season even premiered for similar reasons.
