Caryn Chandler was previously married to Joseph Chandler before her romance with Matt started. Her marriage lasted for 20 years before the LPBW couple decided to part ways. Hence, they ended up filing for divorce in 2012 and never looked back. Amid all this, viewers were in disbelief when a shocking criminal record of Joseph started to surface on the internet.
As per Oregon state court records, Caryn’s ex-husband was arrested twice. Once, it was for driving while under the influence, and the second one was for an assault. Apparently, on January 31, 2018, Joseph was caught “unlawfully” driving a vehicle while under the influence of intoxicants. As a consequence of this, he had to go behind bars for 45 days.
But that’s not all. Joseph had two years probation and had to pay $1,855 in fees. On September 27, 2018, he also had to complete a “Victim Impact Panel.” Before all this, Caryn’s ex-husband was caught on December 31, 2013, because of his “suspended” license. The chaos dates back to the 2009 incident, which caused the LPBW star’s ex to lose his license.
On November 8, 2009, Joseph had eight counts under his name. It included “assault in the third degree,” “driving under the influence of intoxicants,” and “assault in the fourth degree.” Radaronline confirmed that Chandler ended up causing some serious physical injuries to victims with his motor vehicle and dangerous weapon. Hence, Joseph pled guilty and had to do 80 hours of community service.

LPBW star Caryn Chandler clearly has a dark past. Her estranged family’s criminal records have been surfacing on the internet, and viewers aren’t able to believe their eyes. Apparently, they are no strangers to Connor’s deeds and his history. He recently lost the custody of his only son to ex-wife while he has a long list of legal battles under his name.
Several sources have confirmed that Connor had to go behind bars because of the charges of two counts of harassment against his mother in 2020. Soon, two more charges became part of this list. They were “unlawfully and intentionally damage property” and “attempted use of physical force.”
