LPBW star Caryn Chandler has been a part of the franchise for a while now. She was initially the manager of the Roloff farms, who soon became Matt’s partner and then his fiance. Hence, her son, Connor, also came into the limelight because of his mother’s stardom, and Little People Big World fans learned about his problematic marriage.
Connor had a chaotic divorce while he was fighting for the custody of his only child. However, he recently ended up losing it in the custody battle. Is this true? What is it all about?
LPBW: Connor Lost His Son’s Custody To Ex-Wife
LPBW star Caryn’s son has been dealing with a hard phase these days. He was married to Ashley Washam, and they welcomed their only child, Liam. However, they couldn’t make their marriage work and decided to get a divorce. Apparently, Ashely then filed for sole custody of their son on November 16, 2022, and they have been having a legal battle for a while now.
Connor did everything under the sun to get “joint” custody of his son. But he ended up losing all of Liam’s legal rights. Apparently, viewers weren’t really in shock when they learned that Ashley had won full custody. On the other hand, Connor only has “supervised visitation” of “three weeks” per week with Liam.
Ashley and Connor’s “settlement agreement” came on the record on January 9. As per the documents, the former would be responsible for all her son’s major decisions when it comes to the fields of “medical, education, religion and extra-curricular activities.” Thesun exclusively confirmed that Ashley can consult Connor about the decision.
But she has the sole custody and can make the final decision even if her ex-husband disagrees. Ashley, Connor’s mother, Caryn, and Connor’s father would act as the “Supervisors” during his visiting hours with Liam. Moreover, the estranged couple will only communicate from now on via the court-appointed app OurFamilyWizard.
LPBW: Connor Would Have To Enroll In A Regular Therapy
LPBW star Caryn’s son ended up indulging in drug abuse when he was just a teenager. He struggled with the addiction for years and has been trying his best to keep his life on track. However, Ashley has already accused him of having “erratic” and “unsafe” behavior. She stated that Connon has even threatened her many times in regard to their shared son.
These could be the reasons why the court has asked Connor to get himself enrolled in regular therapy. He needs to do this within 30 days of judgment. Apparently, if the celeb behaves well and follows all the terms for three months, the court will also allow him to move on to step two. In step two, Connor will have more freedom with Liam.
He will be able to have unsupervised visitation with his son. He would get one day every other weekend from 10 am to 5 pm. Likewise, there are steps three, four, and five as well. With each one, Connor’s leniency would increase, and he would get more time with Liam. As per the documents, in the last step, he can have Liam for weekends. It would start from Friday at 5 pm to Sunday at 5 pm.
Viewers are now curious to know if Connor will be able to reach step five or not. Keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers for the latest LPBW tea.
