While she has been a constant part of the show since then, her side of the family rarely appears in it. Well, there could be a big reason behind it.
Caryn Chandler’s son Connor has had a bad past involving drug addiction. While he is sober now, he still has to tackle many issues. One of them is his custody battle for his son Liam with his ex, Ashley. While the latter wants him to have supervised visitation, the former has been aiming for “joint custody.” Amidst this, he is now facing the accusation of “erratic behavior.”

Things weren’t easy for Caryn Chandler’s son Connor. Coming from a broken home, he indulged in drug abuse as a teenager. After struggling for many years, he finally sobered up and has been trying to get his life back on track. While he doesn’t star in LPBW, he still makes headlines owing to his custody battle for his baby boy, Liam.
As per Thesun, Connor’s ex, Ashley, ended up filing a Hearing Memorandum just one day before her court hearing on January 9, 2024. In it, the latter claimed she had had their son Liam “at all times” ever since she gave birth to him. But, the former also has the permission to have “supervised parenting” as long as his father allows him to do so.
Moreover, the court documents also revealed how Ashley had accused her partner of “erratic” as well as “unsafe” behavior. She also talked about one of the incidents where Connor threatened to flee with a four-month-old Liam. He also yelled at his partner at the time while shooting a video and holding his son in his arms. This happened a year before they split. LPBW viewers were shocked at these revelations.

The court documents had mention of many incidents focussing on Connor’s vile behavior. As per the papers, Connor once told his partner at the time to sit in his car with Liam in order to get her personal belongings back. But, he instead “sped off” while their baby cried.
That’s not all. The young mother has also accused her ex, Connor, of hitting her in the “elbow” with a phone screen. This, too, made their son cry. There have also been incidents when she had been breastfeeding the baby while her partner threw things and screamed at her. Because of all these instances detailed in the court papers, Liam’s safety is the first and foremost concern for Ashley.
