While being estranged from his kids Zach and Jeremy, the LPBW star Matt Roloff has admitted to having significant parenting regret. After the patriarch of the Roloff family turned down their offer to buy the family farm, he opted to sell a section of the land instead. So, Matt and his twin boys had a falling out. The Little People Big World star made a confessional Instagram post during the holidays in which he talked about his regrets as a dad. A recent lengthy caption on the TV personality’s social media post covered several topics. Matt added a picture of the sky taken from an airplane.
In the caption, Matt said that he is taking off to spend Christmas with his mother in Arizona. He is happy to be back in time to spend this weekend with his loved ones celebrating Christmas. Moreover, the TLC star continued by stating that it was his mother’s first Christmas following the passing of his father, Ron Roloff. So, he wanted to be there with his mother. Moreover, the post also featured pictures of Zach opening Christmas presents with his kids Jackson and Lilah, alongside Audrey and Jeremy’s son Radley. There was another photo of Matt with Caryn, Isabel, and Jacob Roloff with baby Mateo.
But Mateo’s face was obscured in the photo to honor his parent’s requests for the child’s privacy. However, fans commented that it was pretty visible even though Matt tried to hide Jacob’s son’s face. One fan also asked, “Why is the baby’s face being covered? Is something wrong?”. To this, Matt replied that everything was alright and Mateo is the most adorable kid. However, his parents, Jacob and Izzy, think their son’s privacy should be protected until he is mature enough to make his own decisions. So, Matt appreciated that and wished he had thought about that. However, according to his comment, it seems that he regrets his parenting and believes that he would have done it better then. Although he did not mention anything such thing, fans are dropping their assumptions.
LPBW: Matt Chooses Not To See His Kids On New Year
The last three seasons of LPBW have seen numerous ups and downs for Matt Roloff. That results from his deteriorating connection with his kids, Zach and Jeremy. They are engaged in a dispute over the future of Roloff Farms, as was already known. The star ultimately decided to convert it into a short-term rental after offering a portion for sale for $4 million. However, his boys are still dissatisfied that they were denied the opportunity to reside in the family house. However, the patriarch’s recent social media post suggests that his connection with his children is under much strain. He posted a picture for the new year on Instagram as 2022 ended. Only his mother, Peggy Roloff, and girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, were seen in the picture.
In his post, Matt acknowledged that he doesn’t always “make the greatest decisions”. But he decides to “plough forward”. He sent a “heartfelt gratitude” to his loved ones. Matt was happy to have Caryn at his side and Peggy Roloff, his mother, with whom he could spend so much time. He stated in another post that he had been seeing his mother regularly in Arizona.
