But after failed negotiations, their relationship with Matt Roloff became strained. Now, speculations say that the patriarch never wanted to sell to his sons all along, as he is building his dream house there with Caryn Chandler.

Matt Roloff announced on Instagram with a bunch of photos that he is building his dream house with Caryn on his 100-acre Roloff Farm. Initially, he wanted to sell some parts of it to his kids, Jeremy and Zach. But the brothers couldn’t negotiate with their father and lost their chance to live there. But considering how the LPBW patriarch began construction on the property right after the feud, many fans think Matt never had the intention to sell the farmland to his kids.

A Reddit post began slamming Matt for building his gigantic dream house on the family property after snubbing his sons Jeremy and Zach. The user said that Matt already had a “home.” Yet, he decided to build another one. He has converted the big house into a rental for the avid LPBW fans to come and stay there and experience the place they have seen on their screens for so many years. Another Redditor said that Matt Roloff’s dream house he will move into after marrying Caryn looks “too big” for two people.

Matt Roloff has shared his future plans on the show Little People Big World oftentimes. Once his relationship with Caryn Chandler became serious, they planned on having a dream house. The latter refused to move into the “big house” with Matt as he already had memories with his ex, Amy. So, the new couple wanted to start afresh with a new home. But their plans faced a five-year delay because of COVID and other permit-related issues. So, in 2023, Matt finally started building his dream house.

The LPBW fans upset with Matt for not letting his kids have the farm put out another theory. They said that once his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, married Matt, she would be the co-owner of the property. It was apparent in the previous seasons that Tori and Zach weren’t on good terms with Caryn either after she became part of their negotiation.
