The Little People Big World franchise wanted to see Zach and Jeremy Roloff carry on their father, Matt’s legacy after taking over the Roloff Farms. However, now Matt remains the sole owner of the property and wishes to sell 16 acres of it. In fact, he already put it on the market after his sons couldn’t negotiate with him. Earlier, he and his ex-wife Amy Roloff both owned Roloff Farms. However, she ended up selling her shares back to Matt when they got a divorce. Therefore, viewers often wonder why the famous mom didn’t sell the area directly to the kids.
In fact, Amy Roloff expressed a lot of regret behind selling the farm back to her ex-husband at a price lesser than the market value. That’s when she expressed that she only sold her part back so that he could sell it again to their sons, Jeremy and Zach. However, none of them wish to carry on the legacy anymore.
