Matt Roloff had opened up about his deteriorating bond with sons Zach and Jeremy in some recent episodes of Little People Big World. Well, the LPBW family head often mentioned that he wants nothing more than for his sons to forgive him. But their social media activities suggest that there is still awkwardness and strain in their bond. Despite that, Matt has not given up when it comes to trying. He recently made a post for his twin sons’ 33rd birthday. Shockingly, Zach has not yet responded to the wholesome post.
LPBW: Zach Avoids His Father Matt As He Wishes The Twins A Happy Birthday?
Matt Roloff always wanted his kids to take over the Roloff farms. But as the time came to make this change, the LPBW star changed his mind. It caused strains in the family too. Since then, the Little People Big World patriarch often says he wants to reconcile with his sons. On Zach and Jeremy’s birthday, he made another effort. Just like his ex-wife Amy Roloff, Matt shared a bunch of throwback pictures with his sons Jeremy and Zach while wishing them and remembering the old days. At the end of the Instagram carousel, he included a video of the twins taking their first mule ride on the farm.
Audrey Roloff, i.e., Jeremy’s wife, was the first one to react in the comments saying she couldn’t believe that Matt still had the video all these years later. Her husband, Jeremy, agreed to this while saying the last video was “gold.” Matt also replied to his son by saying the clip was the best. Sadly, amidst all this, Zach didn’t leave a comment on the sweet post. Fans began to wonder if he was still bitter about the feud. They were upset that he chose to ignore such a sweet effort by his father. However, others pointed out that Zach didn’t make a birthday post for his wife, Tori, either. So, chances are that he hasn’t been using his social media much, or there is an issue with his Instagram handle.
LPBW: Zach Unwilling To Forgive His Father! Is it Too Late Now?
Zach and Tori were so upset at the farm deal failing that they moved to Battleground, Washington, from Oregon for a fresh beginning. While Matt Roloff tried a lot to make amends after their feud, it was of no use. He also turned up at the LPBW couple’s house in one of the episodes with a lawn mower. He was eager to know about Zach’s new house and the projects he had planned on the property. But his son remained unmoved by his father’s efforts to fix their bond.
In his confessionals, Zach mentioned that he was at a “certain age” where he just couldn’t look past all the ways his father, Matt, made him upset. So, he didn’t feel like forgiving his father for snubbing him from having a chance to live on the farm with his family.
