Mama June star Shannon is a mother of Anna, Jessica, Lauryn, and Alana. Over the years, her relationship with her daughters has deteriorated to the extent that the star kids hardly have any space for June in their lives. Evidently, the final straw was when the matriarch went behind bars in 2019, and Pumpkin decided to take Honey Boo Boo’s custody. Since then, they have had a turbulent relationship with each other. Evidently, the star has never admitted her wrongdoings, but recently, she finally talked about what happened while raising her daughters.
Recently, Shannon stated that neither parents nor kids come with an “instruction manual.” Hence, she claimed that surely she will also make mistakes in the future, and so will her children. As of June, neither she is perfect, nor her kids are. On the other hand, her husband, Justin, revealed to People that he believes “regrets” would be the wrong word.
