Mama June: Chickadee’s Latest Life Update!
Anna Chickadee Cardwell, the eldest daughter of Mama June, was diagnosed with stage 4 adrenal carcinoma in January 2023. She discovered her rare form of cancer when she underwent several tests after experiencing severe stomach aches. TV Season & Spoilers reported that the reality TV star later publicly announced her illness in March 2023 through a TMZ report. Anna’s baby sister Alana confirmed this news soon, in March. Ever since the reveal, Anna often lands on her social media to apprise her fans about her health journey and other life updates.
In the month of May, she took onto Instagram to share a picture of herself and her boyfriend, Eldridge Toney. The couple gave light-hearted weird expressions in pictures while revealing that Anna went for the third round of chemotherapy and that she was doing great. In the caption of this post, she declared that the Cracker Barrel is sloping downwards and that Chemotherapy is working for her.
The Mama June star even streams live on TikTok every now and then to update her fans about her treatment and fitness journey. Anna Cardwell recently uploaded a post on Instagram making an announcement regarding her TikTok live sessions. She even declared that she starts live-streaming anytime she feels like doing it throughout the week.
Mama June: Anna Chickadee Cardwell Is Surrounded by Her Loved Ones
The matriarch of the Shannon family is known for having estranged relationships with all her daughters. Likewise, she never had a smooth or love-filled bond with her eldest daughter, Anna Cardwell. But the mother-daughter duo has come a long way and has mended their relationship. Numerous uploads on Instagram have revealed that Mama June is by her daughter’s side amid her ongoing treatment.
A series of other photos were uploaded on social media featuring Mama Shannon, Honey Boo Boo, and Pumpkin around Anna while she sat on a hospital bed. Besides this, while being in a conversation with TheSun, June also revealed that she and her husband, Justin Stroud, are all set to relocate from Alabama to Georgia. She intends to be around her daughter Anna and granddaughters Kaitlyn and Kylee to help and support them during their hour of need.
Anna even posted a series of pictures on Facebook from her elder daughter’s elementary school graduation. She posted a carousel of pictures featuring the new graduate, Kaitlyn, herself, her younger daughter, Kylee, and Eldridge. While captioning this post, she mentioned that she is a proud mother. She even stated that she is amazed to be a mother of a middle schooler and a second grader. Chickadee is not missing any joy in her life while she strongly fighting her cancer battle.
