Well, TMZ just revealed the real reason behind the cancellation was the business that purchased the space. David Heynen is the promoter of the Knoxville, TN event. He revealed that the Fanboy Expo booth has been family-friendly since 2012. Hence, the business doesn’t allow the sale or promotion of adult-industry businesses or products.

Heynen told the publication that the business was purchased under the name of “Knoxville Bistro.” However, they received a complaint when a local gentleman’s club promoted Pumpkin’s appearance at the expo. The organizers were unaware that the other party bought it on behalf of the gentleman’s club. Heynan stated, “This vendor did not purchase under the name of the gentleman’s club.”

He made it clear that they didn’t want the event to have any connection with the adult industry. David also noted that Pumpkin wasn’t the reason they had to cancel the event.
