Mama June had been struggling to save Anna’s life in the new season. The entire family came along to help the latter in her last days and spend more time with her. Sadly, Anna left her two daughters Kaitlyn and Kylee with the hope of her family to take care of them.
Unfortunately, her husband Eldridge Toney couldn’t adopt his wife’s daughters because of no blood relations. Kylee’s real father, Michael, took her with him, and Kaitlyn has been living with her grandma temporarily. Well, June and Michael have already started butting heads for the adoption of the girls. Mama June Gives Update On Kaitlyn And Kylee After Anna’ Passing!
Mama June has been raising Anna’s eldest daughter, Kaitlyn, since her passing. Meanwhile, Michael Cardwell took custody of his daughter Kylee and requested the court for Kaitlyn’s custody, too. He has been fighting a court battle with Shannon for the girls. Well, Pumpkin and June have been seen getting emotional in the latest season because Anna is not taking her condition seriously.
They felt that Anna should have done more for her daughter’s custody. Previously, Eldridge shared that his wife’s dying wish was to see her daughters growing up knowing about their mother. He explained how he had promised her that he would always do right by her daughters.
Unfortunately, Kaitlyn and Kylee have had to live apart since their mother’s passing. Eldridge had no right over his stepdaughters. Hence, June stood for her granddaughters. But fans have been a bit unhappy with Shannon raising Kaitlyn. They felt that she would spoil the girl’s future and use her for money.
Recently, June chatted with People to give the latest update on Anna’s kids. She said, “Kaitlyn currently lives with me and Justin [Stroud]. Then, Kylee lives with her biological father.” She hinted at the situation regarding the adoption. The reality TV celeb stated that her followers would soon witness everything that happened in their lives as the season went along.
Mama June And Pumpkin Tears Up To See Anna Not Accepting The Truth!
In the show, Mama June and Pumpkin did everything to ensure that Anna Cardwell receives the best treatment. But the mother-daughter duo recently got upset to see that Anna has not been accepting the truth. The new episode featured Pumpkin pointing out that her sister does not understand that she has no time left. She went on to express that Anna doesn’t seem to accept the truth of her condition.
Meanwhile, June shared how Anna has been thinking that she had 1-5 or 10 years. Pumpkin interrupted while wiping away her tears and said that her sister wasn’t living in reality.
