Mama June recently admitted that she used $35k from Alana’s earnings. But she said she used it to fulfill Alana’s “needs.” This included her nails, salon appointments, and sometimes even the family’s needs. But she maintained that Alana wasn’t broke as she still had enough money in her Coogan account.
Fans will see sisters Pumpkin and Alana confront their mother in the upcoming episode. Pumpkin is prepared with receipts and a whiteboard to ask June to give Alana the money. She revealed that the amount “could’ve been paid for two semesters for Alana.” However, when June was still reluctant to do it, Pumpkin was angry! She confronted her mother’s large spending on drugs.
June said she didn’t want to give Alana the money as she didn’t think the star would complete her course. She strongly felt Alana would drop out and woundn’t want to ‘waste’ the money. But Pumpkin had had enough. She told her mother that she wasn’t “supportive,” calling her a “negative b*tch.” Then she told Mama June that giving money to Alana would be an “investment,” not a waste.
Pumpkin has had enough of June’s rubbish reasoning. She called out her mother’s drug issues, saying June had no problem using $500k for “a bag of” crack. However, when it came to giving Alan “10 grand,” Mama June was scared to “waste” it if “Alana drop(ped) out.” She was angry her mother was being selfish, having wasted her sister’s money on drugs. On the other hand, Alana just wanted her mom to give her “35 grand back” to “pay for college.”
