Later on, within the next two years, both her parents, sister, and aunt passed away. Her mental health crumbled as the single mother was brought to a shelter. However, the 18-year-old got mixed with the wrong crowd and began taking drugs and alcohol. This was also the time when her next four children were born.
Sadly, due to her addiction, some of her children were taken away from her. Her life became a mess with a severe drug and food addiction. However, losing her kids sobered her up, and she started living a drug-free life. Yet, her food addiction remained, and she eventually became dependant on her son. Later on, Walker finally decided the change her life around until things get worse. This was when Irene featured on My 600 Lb Life and began her weight loss journey.
