TLC’s My 600 Lb Life is one of its most beloved shows. It chronicles the journey of morbidly obese individuals on their weight-loss quest. Due to the show’s unique concept, it is a fan favorite.

With 11 seasons already under its belt, TLC has now announced a new season for the show. There will be seven new participants again. And they will be coming with all new life struggles and reasons to shed the excess pounds. TLC released a clip of the new participants and their families for the new season.
In the clip, we have Abi, whose excess weight has left him bedridden. Then there is Charles, who is experiencing “excruciating” pain. Another participant, Rose, has described food as her “comfort.” There is one contestant, William, whose mother is worried about food becoming his addiction.
The new My 600 Lb Life season premieres on Wednesday, March 6. It will have more participants like Deshaun, who hasn’t left his house in 7 years. He fears he’ll die if he doesn’t stop eating. Another cast member is looking for help to “change” his life. At the same time, Jonathan wants to make the best use of his once-in-a-lifetime chance.
My 600 Lb Life: Dr Now & The New Participants
Dr. Now helps the My 600 Lb Life participants to lose weight and qualify for bariatric surgery. However, some participants often leave the show midway due to his hard ways. But that doesn’t mean there are no success stories.
According to TLC, the new season will have more “emotional and physical battles.” The fans will see the new participants change their ways and shed the excess pounds. Many are determined, but not everyone succeeds. Seven new participants, seven new stories, and many emotionally invested viewers. The new season has a lot to offer. And fans can’t wait to see who does and doesn’t qualify for the surgery in the 12th season.
