Whitney Way Thore spoke up about patients suffering from PCOS and how medically neglected they are. Whitney also recalled her own story with PCOS history. At 20 years old, she recalled how, when she was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, she didn’t know much about it. The only thing she knew was that she would need help if she wanted to bear children in the future. No further medical explanation was provided to her. Whitney, at 42, really wants to bear children. Last season, she looked for sperm donors. It is evident that PCOS didn’t receive much medical attention throughout these years.
