The popular TLC star and central cast member of the television show, Whitney, had a bad breakup last year. Apparently, her fiance, Chase Severino, was cheating on her for a long time. Moreover, the woman he had an affair with had gotten pregnant. Hence, Thore later announced their breakup publically. As of today, Chase is happily engaged and a father of a beautiful daughter. On the other hand, Whitney is now dating her French tutor and made it official with an Instagram post less than a week ago.
On the day she announced that she’s dating again, TLC dropped the trailer of the new season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life. It features Whitney talking to her new man through video call. He was Thore’s French tutor, who she wanted to turn into a “suitor.’ Well, she did accomplish her mission and got into a relationship with him. Not a lot is known about the new man yet. The trailer doesn’t reveal his name and even blurred his face in the video calls. However, fans have heavy suspicions about this mystery guy.
Whitney is seen traveling to meet her new boyfriend in Paris, towards the end of the latest trailer. As per her social media, she’s been there for weeks now. However, fans think that all the mystery around the new guy, especially keeping his name and face hidden, are red flags. Whereas, others claim that he could be an actor, who is hired by TLC to play Thore’s new love interest. Since his identity won’t be revealed on the show, the network and/or Whitney can easily fake any storyline. As of now, no evidence proving these fan theories has come up.

Well, the recent theories are even crazier than before. Hours after Thore uploaded the concealed pictures of her new boyfriend, fans started to come up with some storylines. One of these theories said that this French guy might be a Chase Severino lookalike. In fact, before the trailer, some people already guessed that he could have long hair and a man bun just like Severino. So, when the new trailer came out, a lot of fans were shocked.
This is because Whitney’s boyfriend does look a lot like her ex-fiance. Even though TLC blurred his face on the video call, he was visible enough to know that he has long hair, at least up to the shoulders. Fans were shocked as to how their theories turned out to be true. Once this French cast member gets introduced in the new season, we might get to know more about him.
