If you think that My Strange Addition has already shown us the wildest habits yet, then Angela is here to prove it yet again. In the latest episode of TLC, it’s making rounds, and let’s just say it isn’t giving “recovered,” but same obsession, different day.
Although Angela looks calm, at ease, and totally in the moment in the video, that’s exactly what’s making fans uneasy. Because the question isn’t “is she okay?” but rather “did she ever really stop?” when someone who used to drink excessive amounts of coffee seems so at ease holding another cup.

Angela not just enjoys the coffee, but she lives it. The fact that she could drink up to 100 cups of coffee per day shocked the fans when she made her TV debut on My Strange Addiction. What started as a daily pick-me-up grew into a full-blown addiction that affected her relationships, health, habits, and mood.
Angela openly admitted that at the time, she couldn’t function without coffee. Without coffee, there would be headaches, mood swings, and chaos. Although it was difficult to break the cycle, doctors cautioned her of major health risks, including anxiety, heart strain, and damage over time. Fans kept an eye on her in the hope that she would change things. But did she change anything?
Now, fast forward to the present, and the latest episode of My Strange Addiction is raising a lot of questions, which are dropping truth bombs. This time, Angela doesn’t avoid the topic. She even openly admits that she still has a coffee addiction. And honestly? This is much more shocking because of that.
This is where things start to change, though. According to Angela, she is no longer at her “worst.” She used to drink 100 cups a day as if it were nothing. Right now? She says she now drinks between 50 and 70 cups every day. Yes, you read it correctly – cut down! That figure, by itself, seems excessive to most people, but to Angela, it is “progress.”
But wait, there’s more. She has even set up certain “boundaries” for herself. No afternoon coffee. No evening coffee. But don’t be taken in, because according to Angela, drinking less than 25 cups feels “boring” to her. Her baseline is that, which feels like normal there.
Angela openly shares that coffee is a pure energy boost, that “kick” she enjoys a lot at the end of the day. It feeds her, keeps her “zooming.” This emotional layer, however, hits differently, and her children are also concerned about it. As they wind down and prepare to go to bed, Angela is still energized and feeling the effect of caffeine.
For the very first time, we see an awareness of consciousness. Angela confesses that she wants to slow down for her family as much as for herself. She talks of wanting to take care of her children, live a long life, and spend more time in those peaceful, normal moments. Things start to get serious at that point because, beneath the addiction.
However, let’s not overlook the bigger picture. When 50 to 70 cups per day are considered “controlled,” fans consider it an issue. Is this a milder form of the same addiction, or is this real progress? Because the dependency has obviously not decreased, even though the numbers have.
