FA Cup Interrupts Coronation Street Schedule
Coronation Street will not be airing its regular episode today, i.e., January 8 (Monday). Wondering why? It is due to the live coverage of the FA Cup. The soap is usually aired three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) but today FA Cup will begin on ITV1 from 7:30 pm, consuming the Corrie time slot. ITV will broadcast Wigan Athletic vs Manchester United right from the DW Stadium.
But, hold on, here is the good news- Coronation Street will air a special on January 9, 2024 (Tuesday). The upcoming episodes will see Paul dealing with his motor neuron disease. He has asked Todd for a big favor, which is to help him end his own life. Obviously, Todd refuses his request. Then, he goes to Dr Gaddas who denies to provide any prescription, considering his condition. However, Paul figures out another way and asks ex-addict Abi Webster to score him some drugs.
