Hence, the name of their audio show is “More Than Reality.” In the new episode, Danielle addresses trivial questions about Grandma Mimi’s disappearance.
The reality TV star said that it was hard trying to tell people the truth while also being respectful of the family. So, Danielle was struggling with that aspect. Yet, she wanted to let viewers know what had happened between her family and Grandma Mimi. Everyone loved watching her on screens until she disappeared from the episodes! Where did she go?!

Longtime viewers must remember how Grandma Mimi, i.e., Michelle Theriot, was in trouble in 2021 for a DUI charge. Many felt it hurt the show’s reputation, so TLC may have fired her. Well, without revealing many things, Danielle said that people saw Mimi as a fun-loving, silly, crazy person. She and Adam admitted that Mimi was all those things. But there was also an unreliable side to her.
Well, their show never really covered Grandma Mimi’s unpredictable side. So, because of that, the family decided it would be best for her not to appear in OutDaughtered anymore.
