RHOBH: Teddi Mellencamp Revealed Her Surgery Was A Success After Stage IV Cancer Diagnosis!
It’s been a while since Teddi Mellencamp updated about her cancer struggles. The RHOBH star got a stage four cancer diagnosis, and when she underwent surgery for the same, there were four more tumors. They were in her brain. However, the surgery was successful. The celeb gave a glimpse of what she had to do after going through such an intense procedure. They removed the staples from her head.
It was an intense moment. Teddi broke down in tears and many of her friends and family were next to her saying she did “a good job” and how “proud” they were. She also shared this moment with her viewers online so that they could also be a part of her journey. Sine then, Teddi also informed everyone that all her tumors had either shrunken or disappeared. Hence, she had six more weeks of immunotherapy left.
RHOBH: Teddi Mellencamp & Edwin Erroyave Put Divorce On Hold So She Could Receive Treatment For Cancer!
To everyone’s surprise, the couple from RHOBH, Teddi Mellencamp and Edwin Erroyave, announced they had filed for divorce last November 2024. At that time, she wanted primary physical and legal custody of her three kids. However, the star later amended the request so that Edwin could also have joint legal and physical custody of their children.
Shockingly, Teddi’s cancer diagnosis happened in February. Hence, the couple decided to put a pause on their divorce proceedings. During that time, Edwin gave his ex-wife immense support and stood by her side. He decided to take on the role of a caring husband one last time when Teddi was undergoing things as intense as surgeries, radiation, and immunotherapy.
Now that Teddi is out of danger when it comes to her health, the couple has decided to go ahead with their divorce. Many viewers were hoping that being by eachother’s side during these tough times might help them come close and dismiss their legal split. However, that didn’t happen. As per a source, Edwin is still dedicated to helping his former wife, however possible, in her recovery journey.
