On Monday’s episode, fans will see Seeking Sister Wife stars Garrick and Danielle Merrifield deciding on getting a divorce to bring to-be Brazillian sister-wife Alberta into their family. Recently, Merrifield’s family went on a trip to Cabo, Mexico. There they met Roberta and got to know her in a better way. Know below what decision Garrick took about his marriage with Roberta.
How Was The Trip To Cabo For Merrifield Family?
Garrick and Danielle first decided to bring Roberta to Colorado, where they live. However, the same didn’t happen as Roberta was denied a travel visa. Therefore, the married couple decided to fly all the way to Cabo and meet Roberta. Danielle, 33, says, “meeting Roberta for the first time was so real.” The couple’s doubt of plural marriage washed away as they first met Roberta. She was kind, caring, and sweet in nature.
Moreover, Garrick and Danielle also brought their two children with them; Jeremiah, 11, and Solomon, 10. Roberta’s mother was also there to meet with the Merrifield family. Well, everyone got along with each other amazingly. None felt awkward for the first time meeting. Indeed, it was the perfect journey for Merrifield.
Seeking Sister Wife: Danielle Cried Over Sharing Garrick
Danielle and Garrick had a whole talk about intimacy. Danielle didn’t want his husband to make any physical contact until there was confirmation of the marriage, as reported by People. Well, the same happened. Garrick proposed to Roberta on the second night. And the proposal was the ‘magical moment’ for Garrick and Roberta. He took out the ring and said, “My sweet Roberta, Will you marry me?” Roberta was amused and happily said, “yes, yes!”
And, then happened the first night of Garrick and Roberta. Danielle says, “It was a little harder first, sharing Garrick, in that intimacy. I cried, and I had a really hard time.” Danielle soon realized that this was supposed to happen. Roberta has now become a part of their life. It’s totally understandable to have a hard time while sharing your close ones, and here it is about your husband. Merrifield’s family spent nine days together with Roberta. While sharing the experience, Garrick stated, “It was amazing, and saying goodbye was not easy.”
Seeking Sister Wife: Garrick And Danielle Is All Ready To Divorce To Bring Roberta Into Their Life
Roberta has developed a strong connection with the Merrifield family. Garrick and Danielle almost talk daily with her. Although, the children are able to talk less because of the language barrier. The boys were first hesitant to call Roberta their mother, but they understood in no time. Danielle and Garrick want to make Roberta a part of their everyday life so that they and their children could get to know more about her.
She says, “We definitely want to start living together as soon as possible and be united as a family.” Indeed, the couple found a way to bring Roberta all the way to Colorado.
