Christine, 49, and Kody, 52, had a heartfelt conversation about not moving to Utah in the recent episode. Since the beginning of this season, his third wife had been vocal about moving back to Utah. But unsurprisingly, Kody stayed against this idea. He later told on the camera that at first, he remained a bit giddy about moving back to Utah. But after realizing he regretted his decision and also apologized to her. While he confirmed that his wife had accepted his apology, Christine stated that she couldn’t trust his words.
Moving on, Kody told her that he asked each wife, and they had mixed emotions. But Christine stood on the matter and said she’d “move to Utah in a heartbeat.” “I cannot ride this emotional rollercoaster,” she added. Meanwhile, Kody gave her plenty of reasons to stay in Flagstaff, Arizona. So she can’t “feel trapped” by others’ decisions. His wife countered that Utah “feels like a home” as her family lives there.
On the other hand, Kody tried to convince her by bringing a topic that could interest her. He discussed her plans to build a house in Coyote Pass. Christine denied it and said she wasn’t ready yet. While Kody was still trying to make things better between them, Christine cut off the conversation. Shockingly, she said, “No, this is not a safe conversation anymore”. The TV star continued, “it’s not because you’re not safe,” and walked away with teary eyes.
Shortly in the confessional video, she explained why she reacted this way. It feels like crossroads, and she can’t explain everything to him. He doesn’t remain his friends now. Thus there’s no point in discussing those things that are close to her heart. She cut off the conversations without finishing her words and burst into tears. “I don’t know what to do,” Christine concluded. Kody later said that he doesn’t understand why he seemed “not safe” for his second wife.
