Christine Brown’s fans have been waiting for this moment for years now and she has finally decided to keep herself ahead of the toxic marriage. She is no longer struggling in her marriage with the celebrity polygamist while maintaining a relationship with the Sister Wives. In fact, Kody’s ex-wife looks happier than she did in the past several years. Christine recently gave away her first statement after the controversial divorce announcement. Starcasm pointed out that she revealed some crucial details in her latest Cameo video. The TV star said that her decision to separate from the Browns was “a long time coming”. Moreover, she thinks she’s a much better person after the divorce than she has ever been before.
Fans were glad to hear her say, “Life is so great”. Meanwhile, it was also sad that Christine never knew that life could actually be this simple. In fact, she had to confirm this by asking her daughter, Mykelti. The TLC star felt happy to be assured that married life and life, in general, can both be so simple. When talking about her divorced life, Christine revealed that she thinks it’s a “phenomenal world” without the marital tensions with Kody. However, in this new world, the ex-sister wife hopes that she can remain friends with Kody Brown in the future. This is because the couple still shares six children. Anyways, she’s currently happy to be just a “mom” than she ever was as a “wife”.

As per what the trailer of Season 16 hints, the reason behind Christine and Kody’s divorce could be the latter’s inability to be a good “shared” husband. The third wife was highly unhappy for being treated as the least favorite wife in the family. She also talked about being at the bottom of Kody’s priority list, including the four Sister Wives. However, even though they split up on bad terms, Kody and Christine are ready to raise their kids together. They both added in their divorce statements that they would continue to parent their children. This means that the ex-couple will be co-parenting instead of being involved in a custody battle.
Besides, Christine and Kody were only “spiritually” married. This means that their divorce isn’t legal like their marriage. After their separation, Christine revealed leaving the shared husband helped her focus on being a mom instead. She added that she loves being a mom, and it is her “favorite role ever”. She even likes going on separate dates with all her kids. Recently, Christine and Janelle went on a vacation together alongside their daughters.
