Losing a close one is never easy. The Brown family recently talked in detail about their son Garrison’s untimely death on Sister Wives. The youngster took his own life at his residence for reasons best known to him. In the recent Sister Wives episode, Kody Brown, along with his entire family, reflected upon their greatest loss. This is the first time that the Brown family has talked about the tragedy and accepted that it was very sad.
Kody also looked back on the day everything happened. He further recalled the conversation he had with Garrison’s mom and his ex-wife, Janelle Brown. Furthermore, they were confused about what the next step should be. Sister Wives fans know that Garrison and Kody had long-unresolved issues. The father and son duo were not on good terms, and even while Garrison took his own life, many blamed Kody. For the first time, Kody revealed that he wished that he had time to make things right with Garrison.
Sister Wives: Janelle Pays A Heartfelt Tribute To Garrison On His Birthday!
Garrison would have turned 27 years old on April 10, and to celebrate the day, Janelle shared a heartfelt Instagram post. The star from Sister Wives shared a video of Garrison enjoying himself with his siblings and mom at the country fair.
Sharing the video, Janelle further added that Garrison seems so alive in the millions of photos and videos she has with her. Sometimes, she forgets that she won’t be able to see and meet him again. Moreover, Garrison’s siblings also shared photos with him, remembering him on his birthday.
Sister Wives: Kody Brown Grieves He Didn’t Get A Chance To Make Things Right With Son, Garrison!
Sister Wives star Kody revealed that he was shattered after Garrison’s death. He didn’t know how to react or deal with the entire situation. Kody had a conversation with Janelle, and they decided that they should take their son back home to Wyoming to bury him beside his grandma, Cheryl. He thought it would be the right thing to do.
Kody elaborated that Garrison wasn’t supposed to leave like this. He was too young to face all this. In the recent episode, he further added that it’s heartbreaking that Robyn and he didn’t get a chance to make things right with his son. He feels terrible that he was not able to say a proper goodbye to Garrison. The Sister Wives star just doesn’t know what to do, or how to react to his son’s death.
Kody further added, “I’ve got to do something different because I could have had more time with him.” He continued, “I thought there would be more time.” Kody further added that this loss has left a big hole in their lives, and it just takes his breath away. He asked all their fans to respect their privacy and join them in honoring Garrison’s memory.
Kody explained that he often wonders if he would have called Garrison, and things would have been different now. He might have been alive if he had still been in touch with his son.
