Kody, Meri, Christine, Janelle, and Robyn always appeared devoted to their church and Mormon ways on Sister Wives. This was one of the main reasons why they began a plural marriage. The current Sister Wives season has been all about Christine, Janelle, and Meri starting afresh while Kody is dealing with the aftermath of his three divorces. He has been doing so while his fourth and only wife, Robyn, has been supporting him. Despite this, the former polygamist has found ways to demean the only woman who is standing by him.
He mentioned in the new episode that Robyn had often urged Kody to reconcile with Janelle and Meri. When they were on the verge of splitting, the fourth wife would push him to make things right. So, Kody now feels that if she had not made him want to fix things, he’d have gotten over the divorces sooner than expected. He also mentioned some even more shocking details in the new episode!

Kody had been a huge advocate of his Mormon faith and religion. He thought he did everything right as a polygamist, but all of that blew up in his face when most of the Sister Wives left him. Because of this, everyone had an impression that he was very rigid regarding his religion. But that wasn’t the case. He made a shocking reveal in a new episode.
It turns out Kody had a tryst in college. As per his words, he was quite “naughty” and had a lover with whom he lost his virginity. The experience was “devastating” as Kody belonged to a church where “purity” was everything. So, finding his way back to it was quite challenging. He also mentioned Meri and Robyn as the only ones to know.
Kody explained that while he had a good bond with Janelle and Christine at that time, he never brought up this detail. That’s because the star never felt as intimate with them as he did with Meri and Robyn. Fans were in shock after this reveal as they never imagined Kody to go down such a path, especially after talking about his faith so sincerely in the show.
