TLC’s popular show Sister Wives documents the life and struggle of a plural family. It initially featured the life of Kody Brown and his four wives- Meri, Janelle, Christine, and Robyn. But their family dynamics have immensely changed over the years, so much so that Christine and Janelle have walked their separate ways.
This is not it, as Meri is merely a few steps away from calling it quits with the father of eighteen in the current airing season. Besides discussing things with her, Kody also opened up about his unashamed plans to save their family reality TV show. Here is more about it!
Sister Wives: Kody Shares His Bizarre Plan To Keep The Show Running!
Kody Brown tied the knot with his first wife, Meri, in 1990. They were legally married until 2014, when he had to legally marry his fourth wife, Robyn, instead and adopt her kids. This left Meri spiritually linked to him until they announced their separation earlier this year.
As we all know, season 18 of Sister Wives is running almost a year behind. Thus, the Brown family patriarch talks about his loveless marriage in the latest episode. While talking to the cameras, Kody declares that he is ready to ‘fake being in love with Meri.’
Kody went on to add that he is willing to do his husband duties. He continued that he is willing to cope with the things that irritate him so much that he prefers not being around Meri. The Sister Wives star admits that he is willing to do all this for the sake of their show.
During a confessional in the November 19 episode, Meri reveals that they have not been intimate in almost a decade. She asks why he was claiming to continue acting when he was not there for her in the last “eight or 10 years.”
The mom of one was not in favor. Meri went on to share that she wouldn’t want Kody to do so as she wanted to fix their relationship but never forced it on him. Fans were devastated for her and showed support.

In the Sunday, November 19 episode, Meri, Kody, and Robyn discuss the nearing end of their polygamous marriage. However, Robyn insists that Kody considers himself to be married to Meri. But the latter feels that Robyn is missing out on the difficult facts.
Later in the episode, Meri opines that it was not fair for all of them, especially her, for she did not deserve to be alone for so many years. She went on to say that it is not right for him to feel like doing a duty when being around her. The Sister Wives star admits that it is not something she wants. Kody quickly admits that it is not something that he wants as well.
