Hence, she clarified that she wanted a “severance package.” The celeb asked Kody if he would “load some stuff” and drive a “truck” for her. Meri then teased the latter and noted with a smirk that she would call this her “severance package.”
In her confessional, she explained that she “failed” to ask for alimony when she legally parted ways with him. That is why Meri believes she deserves at least this much after giving her 30 years to Kody and the Brown family. She further admitted that this would make things even, and she could leave in peace. Sister Wives star Meri Brown played with Kody’s mind with her actions. In an exclusive clip by US Weekly, she is moving out while the latter stays on his word and decides to help her pack her stuff. As soon as Meri saw Kody, she asked, “I got a bomb to drop. Do you know what today is?.” The latter admitted that he remembered that it was their wedding anniversary!
Meri was quick to snap back, “It’s not anymore!.” That is why her brother-in-law noticed her T-shirt and asked, “Is that why you wore the ‘karma’ shirt?.” Meri decided to wear a shirt that read, “I saw that. – Karma.” This evidently couldn’t be a coincidence as she admitted that “karma’s a bitch.” Kody got awkward and wondered if Meri “intentionally” decided to move out on their anniversary.
However, Meri stated in her confessional, “This was not planned. This was not intentional.” She believes that perhaps this was the universe’s way of telling her to “move on.” She added, “It doesn’t matter anymore. We’re not married.” That is why Meri decided not to even take the bed that she once shared with Kody.
She straight away denied it on Kody’s face and made it clear that she wasn’t taking this before starting a new chapter in her life. Meri explained that she wasn’t going to be single forever.
