The first episode of Sister Wives Season 16 is finally here, and fans are baffled! Kody is becoming one of the most disliked reality TV stars, and the latest season amplifies the hate against him. The polygamist recently shocked his wives with the uneven distribution of the infamous Coyote Pass property. However, what’s more shocking is that some of his spouses think Kody frauded them into picking the plots they didn’t like. Kody Brown has been planning to shift on the Coyote Pass property for a while now. He intends to finally start building on it, but he needs his spouses to select their plots first. Hence, he decided to make a property distribution plan by himself. While the family initially expected the Coyote Pass land to be divided into four portions, Kody suggested he wanted a plot for himself. On top of that, he wanted this plot to be the one with the pond. The Sister Wives have been caught in several fights before upon who gets the pond, and Meri has been the most passionate about it. Thus, when Kody announced the distribution, he left everyone shocked.
At first, the wives, especially Meri and Christine, didn’t favor the idea of Kody having his own plot. The latter even pointed out that it was a waste of money. She even called Kody’s house a “dog house” (by accident though). Right when the fights started getting serious, everyone decided to take the opinion of the property surveyor. However, the surveyor, Mike Stark, said that Kody’s idea is best for their situation. In her confessional, Meri Brown talked about how she didn’t believe that Mike was in favor of the polygamist.
The first wife suggested that Kody conspired against everyone by asking Mike to talk in his favor. She said, “Kody already had a conversation with Mike and told him how he wanted the property to be laid out”. The Sister Wives star then added that her shared husband then asked the surveyor to help sell his idea to the ladies. While Meri said everything with a smile, TLC viewers believe that she was accusing Kody of fraud. However, most people also feel bad for her because of the uneven property distribution.

Fans have been accusing Kody of favoritism towards his youngest wife for years. However, many think that he’s now making zero efforts to hide it. He only favored Robyn over everyone before. But, the Brown patriarch is also giving her one of the biggest plots. As of now, his marriages with Robyn and Janelle seem to be the only ones working out right now. Meanwhile, Christine has already left him. Meri is in a bad relationship with him. Kody barely visits him anymore, let alone care about her a little. In that order, the Sister Wives star distributed his biggest plots of the family’s property to his favorite wives while giving only leftovers to the rest.
Out of the five plots he wants to divide, the biggest two plots are for Robyn and Janelle. Besides, viewers think that the former’s portion might be the most valuable one. On the other hand, Meri and Christine’s respective properties are the ones that are nearly halves of Janelle and Robyn’s plots.
