‘Suddenly Amish’ Shocks Fans With Matt’s Return

The Lancaster Amish community previously asked Matt to leave. The decision came suddenly and shocked the cast members of Suddenly Amish. James escorted Matt off the property, as the Amish cannot have divorced individuals in their community. However, Matt returned soon (in the same clothes) and surprised the five cast members. Among the cast, Matt’s return thrilled Kendra the most. She even slipped and fell while running to hug him.

However, not everyone was as happy as Kendra. David and James did not seem happy. His sudden return to the community confused David and James. “Apparently, Matt didn’t get the hint,” James commented in the confessional. They stood at a distance watching the cast reunite. He stated that he didn’t know who Matt thought he was, but that he is not part of the community because of his divorce. He won’t be able to marry even if he joins the church. Matt’s return really confused James.

In a recent clip of Suddenly Amish, Kendra and Matt go on a date. They sit at a comforatable distance. It is a nice picnic date, beside the river, in a secluded spot. Matt confessed he would have kissed Kendra by now if they were in the modern world. Kendra is dressed in her Amish clothes, while Matt is in his modern clothes. However, Emma interrupted their date, reminding them to sit at arm’s length from each other.

Emma’s interruption caught them off guard and pissed Kendra off. Their anger is debatable since they are not Amish. Emma wanted a stick placed between them so they couldn’t move an inch closer. In a confessional, Emma explained how monitored Amish dating is. They believed in hands-off courtship that does not allow hand-holding. She also stated that she has never seen Amish kissing in public.

The Amish dating rules annoy Kendra and Matt. Matt stated that both of them are in their 30s, while Emma is in her 30s. He is visibly annoyed by Emma’s strictness. Emma stayed close to the couple by the river while giving them privacy. Kendra and Matt planned to go swimming. They ran to the river, excited, and stood in the water, holding hands.
