The CW

The first look for Supergirl Season 6 teased an upcoming “epic battle.” It looks like the group is now in the last ride that Kara Danvers must face. The recently released synopsis shared that Supergirl would meet new foes, and it might turn deadly for her to survive this time. But we all know that she might come up with a plan. The show made its debut in 2015, and since then, it has been highly praised for its exceptional concept. Supergirl also has been a part of Arrowverse since its second season.

Supergirl follows a 13-year-old girl Kara who relocated to Earth to protect her infant cousin Kal-El. However, she was stuck in the Phantom Zone for 24 years. But when Kara finally landed on Earth, she discovered that Kal-El had become Superman. However, an event forced her to reveal her powers to fight against the evils.

Supergirl Season 6: First Look Teased Never-Ending War

Recently, the first look of Supergirl Season 6 got out, indicating that the battle hasn’t been resolved yet. Howbeit the finale had raised the stakes high when Kara and her team tried to draw the people out of the terrible VR world. However, the global pandemic affected the series, leading it to wrap up before its finale. Although the virtual reality world played a significant part in the fifth season, it helped Kara reunite with Lena Luthor. Lena has been alienated Kara since she discovered that Kara is the Supergirl.

Official Synopsis Hints What To Expect

Supergirl Season 6 would pick up from where it left. In the recent finale, Brainiac sacrificed himself while stopping Lex Luthor by using the Obsidian platform to alter half of the world, turning into zealous followers. But it didn’t go as they planned. However, soon Lena realized how dangerous her brother Lex is, and she quickly called the team to help. But Supergirl realized that she needs to sacrifice herself to stop Lex from creating more chaos.

The sixth season’s first episode, titled “Rebirth,” will feature Supergirl and her team against Lex and Gamenmae. Well, the sixth season premiere will follow the fifth season finale since many plotlines were left up in the air last year. So it all needed to resolve before Supergirl moved to the next chapter. But the sixth season would feel a little strange as it would quickly move into a new storyline after “Rebirth.”
