Teen Mom star Amber Portwood has always been in the news week after week, but this time, it’s her baby daddy, Andrew Glennon, making headlines. He is apparently in a legal feud with his family over their $8.5 million estate. There’s a lot of money involved, along with emotional baggage. The U.S. Sun recently reported that Andrew, now 41, revealed that large parts of his family’s estate have excluded him.
His family apparently excluded him from the mediation regarding the massive inheritance. He is currently at war with his two sisters, and things are getting more intense by the minute. Andrew and Amber once dated and share a son. However, Amber’s toxic traits escalated, leading to several physical altercations with Andrew. Eventually, he got fed up and decided to leave the States with their son. Andrew now has custody and lives in Malibu.

Teen Mom: Andrew Glennon’s Mom’s Death And His Inheritance Fight!
Andrew Glennon’s mother, Charmaine Witus, passed away on April 19, 2024, leaving behind an estate valued at $8.55 million. Her will was filed in a Los Angeles court. It named three of her four adult children, Meghan, Juliet, and Andrew, as beneficiaries. Charmaine made it clear that she intentionally excluded her daughter, Allison, from the will.
Andrew’s mom further stated that she would divide the remainder of her estate equally among Meghan, Juliet, and Andrew. Each would receive roughly $2.8 million before taxes and legal deductions. Andrew’s father, James Glennon, passed away earlier in 2006.

Amber Portwood was in a long-term relationship with Andrew. The relationship ended rather aggressively. Now, Andrew has relocated and lives with his son. However, he is back in the headlines. In an affidavit submitted to the court last week, Andrew shared that for the majority of the mediation, he found himself alone and left out of all discussions. He was referring to his late mother’s property and estate.

He further added that all the discussions leading up to the signing of the agreement happened in his absence. Andrew elaborated that his sisters, Juliet and Meghan, along with their attorney, left him alone for over 45 minutes during a recent mediation session. When the mediator returned, he asked Andrew if he had signed the agreement. When he told them he had not, they pressured him to skim through the documents quickly.
Andrew clarified that he did not know what was written in the document but signed it under pressure. He took issue with the wording of one clause in particular, as well as the payment terms. Andrew further added that a piece of the property was also not part of the estate that had suddenly appeared. There was also mention of a separate property in Sonoma County that was never part of this particular estate.
He further added, “Originally, this agreement comes off as being very coercive, as there’s so much more found here than what was mentioned in the actual mediation.” He has also hired an attorney to help with the legalities. For the latest Teen Mom updates, keep coming back to TV Season & Spoilers.
