Chelsea Houska might have left her MTV days far behind, but she hasn’t left TV yet. The former Teen Mom star has her own show on HGTV. It is called House Down Home Fab and is returning for the second season.
While the star is promoting the second season, she also has some tips for the viewers. Chelsea’s hobby of creativity is now one of her passions. And she and Cole gave the fans some tips for revamping their house. They gave both the dos and the don’ts.

Chelsea is a creative person. She likes to paint and make new things. So the Teen Mom star decided to make her ‘hobby’ useful. Now, she has a show on HGTV called House Down Home Fab. Chelsea and her husband, Cole, revamp people’s houses in the show.
The audience loved Chelsea’s show so much that it is coming back for another season. Season 2 premiered on March 21. In an Interview with Parade to promote the second season, Chelsea also gave some home-revamping tips to the fans. Her husband Cole also chimed in on occasion.
Chelsea advised fans to stay away from “gray wood-tone flooring” as it gives the house a dated appearance. Her next advice was to choose the color white, giving the example of her own white kitchen. “Even though it looks really nice and crisp,” Cole agreed, fans should go for more neutral tones. While they were on the topic of the kitchen, Cole gave some other tips, too. He advised the fans to switch up cabinets and counters and add an island.
The pair then gave some tips about the bathroom. Evidently, both hated the “chunky corner bathtubs.” Chelsea said she would remove it and do “a freestanding tub or increase the size of your walk-in shower.” Her husband advised redoing the grout on the bathroom tiles and updating some hardware. The Teen Mom star also said that painting and changing wallpapers always helped.
Teen Mom: Chelsea & Cole Open Their HGTV Show’s First Store
Teen Mom fans loved Chelsea’s HGTV show House Down Home Fab, so the star and her husband Cole decided to open a brick-and-mortar store for the show’s accessories. The store opened on Friday! Cole and Chelsea will also launch their online store soon.
Talking about the store, Chelsea said she and Cole will try to “be there as much as humanly possible.” However, the store, like the show, was about people “enjoy(ing) the energy (of) bring there.” So the fans can also look around without buying anything. Chelsea wants the fans to “get inspo” for their houses in the store.
