With all the teen parents in their 30s, the Teen Mom Family Reunion spin-off was supposed to be a bit sensible. As it turns out, it is anything but. The new season premiered recently, and let’s just say the fans don’t find drunk adults anymore.
MTV aired the third episode of the Teen Mom spinoff’s newest season last night. Here is a recap of what happened. We can probably summarise it as a lingerie party with lots of booze and, of course, the couple-drama.
Teen Mom: Episode 3’s Truck Load Of Couple Drama & Non-stop Drinks
After an ‘eventful’ night, both Sean and Jade were tired. Sean woke up and talked with a non-serious Tyler. He revealed he drank a lot last night and vented with Jade, which ended in him having a good cry session. The Teen Mom star was upset and decided he would be a teetotaler for the rest of the season. Jade was also feeling ‘sick,’ so the doctors advised her to take rest.
While Jade and Sean recovered, the other couples went for their next activity. It was about stacking blocks. The blocks had labels like trust, intimacy, etc on them. Couples had to stack the blocks in terms of being the least to the most important issues in their relationship. For Cate and Tyler, intimacy was not a struggle. But Cate said they need to work on communication while Tyler’s issue is anger. Maci and Tyler agreed trust was not a problem, but communication and intimacy were.
Zach and Cheyenne go next, and Cory and Taylor follow. However, Cory revealed that they had trust issues because Cory cheated on Taylor. The Teen Mom star is frustrated that Taylor hasn’t forgiven him, but the experts called him out for rationalizing his mistake. At the house, the other castmates discussed Taylor and Cory’s case. The former felt she would trust Cory only when he proposed. Cory was ready to do anything but that.
Everyone goes off to rest or spend some free time. Meanwhile, Cate and Tyler gossiped about their co-stars. The former revealed Mackenzie McKee divorced Josh. She was dating someone new, and he would be joining the show. Cate just hoped Cheyenne and Taylor had put their fight behind them.
Teen Mom: Cate & Tyler Threw A Lingerie Party In Episode 3
Tyler was excited about the party. Cate wanted couples to get out of their comfort zones. So the Teen Mom pair put together sex toys gift baskets for their co-stars. While Jade and Sean were still recovering, Taylor was reluctant to join the party. Cate gave her some advice and then handed her a sex harness. The others also got their sex toys.
When Cheyenne pointed out that Taylor was missing from the party, Cory decided to find her. The others headed down to the party in weird Halloween short garbs and too much drink. At the party, Cate told Cheyenne that Mackenzie would be in Columbia soon. So Cheyenne then broke down her and Mackenzie’s whole fight.
Soon, everyone was partying. And trust us, it was borderline uncomfortable to watch. The guys even ate big ass ants to enhance their ‘asset’ on the waiter’s suggestion! Soon, the drinks were flowing, and some of the guys’ clothes came off. The next morning, everyone had a hangover.
But Jade and Sean were better, so they went to therapy. Jade shared her fears regarding her second pregnancy. Back at the house, Mackenzie and her boyfriend arrived, and now fans are holding their breaths! Stay tuned to TV Season & Spoilers for more piping hot Teen Mom drama.
