With a new week, The Family Reunion is back with a new episode. The previous episode had a lot of patent Teen Mom drama and heavy drinking. While the new episode is nothing different, it certainly has some new additions.
Some new members have joined the cast. There is also an obstacle course and a therapy session. But how can we forget that all the adults are here for a fun time? The cast is at it again, and the new episode has many new ‘secrets’, including a baby!
Teen Mom: Here Is What Went Down On Family Reunion Episode #5
So far, fans have seen the Family Reunion cast get drunk and do some weird things on the Teen Mom spinoff. The new season is just a big free-drinks party with the occasional sprinkling of group activities and therapy. But that doesn’t mean that it lacks drama. There is plenty of that and more. The new episode introduced two new cast members: Kayla and Ryan.
Fans saw the episode begin with Jade’s mom, Christy, calling her. She told Jade that their daughter Khloie had been showing the finger at school and had been in detention a lot. Jade doesn’t have any issues and is thankful that at least Khloie isn’t “dropping f-bombs and cursing.” Then we head to the house, where Mackenzie and Cheyenne are still at loggerheads. But Mack is just here to enjoy the show and sticks with Khesanio.
Maci and Taylor have organized an obstacle course for the couples. So everyone headed to it while Cheyenne decided to cut Mack some slack. But Kayla’s appearance distracted her. The former revealed that her boyfriend Ryan will arrive later as he finishes his work trip. Kayla then told the viewers that her relationship with Ryan was rocky right now, so they needed a vacation.
The Teen Mom spinoff cast then goes off to the obstacle course. But before that, Mackenzie had an awkward encounter with Kayla. She and Kayla have a sort of verbal battle. Then, they cut to the gang, gearing up for the obstacle course. It becomes a girls vs. boys affair. But it seemed like the girls weren’t doing well, as they garnered only one win. However, this win almost cost Maci a kidney, as she claimed to have “burst it.” Luckily, nothing major happened.
Teen Mom: Kayla, Ryan & ‘Baby’ Make Complicated Three!
Kayla’s boyfriend, Ryan, was still not in the house. So, Jade decided to confront her, and boy, did she get some juicy stuff out. It turns out Kayla had been with Ryan while she was with her ex-boyfriend, Luke. But she said it was okay because Luke was also cheating on her!! But now the Teen Mom star wanted to find out if she and Ryan were worth fighting for.
Then Kayla announced that she was pregnant with Ryan’s baby. However, she wasn’t sure she wanted to reveal the news to everyone without Ryan. Another bomb is that Ryan isn’t too happy about the pregnancy! But they still haven’t told the rest of the cast about it. Jade advises Kayla to trust the island’s therapy and relationship experts.
Finally, Ryan arrived on the island, and his and Kayla’s whole exchange was very tense. Their pregnancy news finally broke out, and there were many awkward congratulations. In the last few moments, the guys went for ice therapy while the girls went for hypnotherapy. However, all hell broke loose when Cheyenne admitted she doesn’t like Mackenzie.
