Teen Mom star Danielle Cunningham appeared on Hollywood Demons Season 2 to get candid about her life on and after the hot franchise. A sneak peek from the first episode of the season had her talking about her grueling drug addiction that ultimately led to her overdose. The reality tv star joined the hit franchise during Season 3 when she was just 16.

Following her casting, she received a barrage of criticism and public hatred for her appearance on the show. The showmakers never helped her and never even provided counseling for the cast’s well-being, including Danielle’s. The lost teenage mother, unfortunately, turned to drugs to numb the pain she was feeling.

Moreover, the producers did not step in with help even then. “I just started partying. And then all of a sudden pills started going into the parties, and we’re doing Xanax, and then it was Percocet, and when I was 17, I had somebody shoot me up with heroin,” she stated. However, she never overlooked her motherly and adult duties and kept showing up for her child.

But then tragedy struck. Danielle was doing heroin in the backseat of her friend’s car at two in the morning when she overdosed. She was choking, but the friend didn’t dial 911 lest they get caught. She woke up in the hospital with the news that she was pregnant with her second child. It took her to be on death’s roll to swear off heroin.
