It was Farrah’s daughter Sophia’s birthday. So, she took her daughter to a tattoo parlor to get some new piercings. Farrah even documented the events in photos and videos and posted them on Instagram. At the parlor, Sophia had to find a place for her new pieces among the many old ones.
Sophia chose to go for tongue piercing and one on her lower back as well. After that, the mother-daughter duo came back home and had a party. They ate cake, and Farrah burned several sparklers for Sophia’s 15th birthday. She captioned her posts wishing her daughter a happy birthday. The Teen Mom star also called her daughter “educated” and “fearless” with “a bright future ahead of her.”
Though the message was sweet, many Teen Mom fans weren’t having it. Some fans hoped it was “just a phase.” While others blamed Farrah for never giving her daughter the right “guidance.” Meanwhile, some fans were also supportive of Farrah. Farrah’s parenting decisions are often a little unconventional. To a fault, the Teen Mom star is very supportive of her daughter’s wishes. So, how could the Teen Mom star say no when it comes to getting piercings? Farrah herself has had fillers and surgeries, and she is also allowing her daughter to get piercings.
The MTV star’s daughter got six piercings for her 14th birthday. But the move did not go well with the fans. The piercings had taken the internet by storm. Fand hated her decision. So, they expressed their views online.
However, the star did not care much about the criticism. She talked to InTouch about it, saying many “13-year-olds” have piercings. And she also added that if her daughter’s demands were “legal,” she would allow it. But the changes that Sophia wanted should also not be “permanent.”
