The dinner was wrapped up, with Leah running to the washroom in tears. According to Gary Shirley, the pair have not seen each other since Leah’s birthday back in November.
In a startling development, Gary drops a bombshell, revealing 15-year-old Leah’s desire for his wife, Kristina, to adopt her. The revelation came during a boy’s trip, shocking every Teen Mom co-star present. He also mentioned that Kristina would adopt Leah “in a heartbeat.” However, Amber is unaware of this situation. Gary added that Leah had chosen not to keep contact with her mother since the birthday dinner. Moreover, Amber hasn’t tried to reach out either.
“Leah is kind of like, the damage is all done,” Gary said. “I think [their relationship] is salvageable, but what Leah would need is for her mom there all the time.” The co-stars emphasized that it is Amber’s responsibility to stay in contact. “Amber is the mother. She called Leah “rude” and a “d*ck.” Moreover, she was late for dinner and kept trying to deny that fact. She also kept bringing up her boyfriend, Gary Wyatt, despite Leah’s clear discomfort.
The evening ended with Leah rushing to the washroom with tears in her eyes. Since then, the two have not seen each other. Moreover, it appears Amber also hasn’t tried to reconnect. And if she did reach out, Leah has not responded.
