However, this time around, she isn’t in any controversy due to her life, but because she defended another controversial figure. That controversial figure is the former Bachelorette star, Taylor Frankie Paul.

Kailyn Lowry had quite a lot to say about Paul’s DV scandal. “She pled guilty. She got help… did all the things in 2023,” Kailyn started. “I also want to acknowledge the fact that reactive abuse is a real thing, and if she was ever dealing with a narcissist or someone who was violent first and did not film himself being violent,” she further stated.

Moreover, she insisted that it was just mere speculations, though. “We can’t hold her to a different standard if he’s antagonizing her and doing things like that, and then she’s being recorded, that’s not fair,” she additionally stated. Lowry also expressed her admiration for Taylor for taking accountability and working on herself to become a better person.

Taylor and her representative have also hinted that there’s more to the story than Mortensen had let on. Apparently, she had been in a very toxic and abusive setting with Mortensen for years when he filmed her breakdowns.
