She explained that, for instance, if her ex sent her a message while the cameras weren’t rolling, the producers would ask her to act it out again on the show and give powerful expressions.
They would ask her to change numbers so they could recreate the scene. They even sent her a similar message to get an on-screen reaction. The star cast referred to this as a “pickup” because it didn’t happen in real-time. She further added that she is not bashing the producers, as she understands why they did it. After all, they had to make a show for entertainment. However, at that time, it was very hard for her, especially because she was so young.
Kailyn added that the producers had a lot of creative freedom. They edited scenes according to their narrative, and the cast had no say in it. They would make them shoot for six months and then shrink it down to four minutes if they felt like it. However, as she got older, she started pushing back.
