Teen Mom: Kailyn Shares Photos Of Twins!
Being a reality TV star is difficult because people always want to know what the stars are up to. And Kailyn Lowry has an excellent grasp of this. The Teen Mom star keeps in touch with her fans through Instagram Q&As. She also keeps sharing photos and videos of her kids.
However, Kailyn had kept her recent twin pregnancy under wraps for a long time. She had also kept the birth of the babies a secret. The fans were excited to see the little ones. And now, Kailyn has finally given the fans a first look at the newborns. The star shared the picture on her Instagram while sharing about the twins’ stay at the NICU.
She had revealed the whole story on her Barely Famous podcast and shared a snippet on her Instagram. The MTV celeb sat in a chair in her recent photo and held the twins. At the same time, the babies were swaddled in blankets and with wires connecting them to separate incubators.
Kailyn revealed that the babies had stayed in the NICU for several weeks as they were five weeks premature. She added that she “didn’t get to hold them until the next day or 48 hours.”
The Teen Mom star had recalled being upset as the doctors didn’t tell her the reason for her babies’ health. She recalled her daughter not displaying “any feeding cues.” And when Kailyn did try to feed her, the baby girl “wouldn’t take a bottle.” The star also revealed that there were differences between the twins.
However, she thinks they are because Kailyn’s daughter was in the NICU longer than her son. The baby boy always had someone “holding him,” whereas the baby girl was in the hospital.
Teen Mom: Kailyn Recalls Her Twins’ NICU Stay
Kailyn Lowry had revealed that her twins were in the NICU for “several weeks” after their birth. The star had “experienced” the NICU with Rio, but this was different. She also recalled that she visited her twins in the NICU. And when she was there, she “was there for hours.”
The NICU also took a mental toll on the Teen Mom star. Kailyn recalled that though she had a therapist, she was still feeling bad for her kids. The star explained that she was “away from” her “infant” while the infant “was away from her twin.” And this made her feel she wasn’t doing enough.
Kailyn also revealed in her Friday’s Barely Famous episode that she had ripped her stitches a week after the twins’ return from the hospital. She told the fans it was an accident because she felt she was fit enough to do some housework. Kailyn took the help of her boyfriend, Elijah’s mother, who is a nurse.
