Infamous Teen Mom star Ryan Edward quickly moved from reality TV to prison. He entered the reality TV realm with Maci Bookout in the famous MTV show 16 & Pregnant. The thirty-five-year-old has since seen several highs and lows in his life, ranging from two splits to substance abuse and whatnot.
Ryan was sent to prison in April 2023 for 11 months and 29 days, but he was released from prison and sent to rehab in July. It was here that he met his new love interest, Amanda Connor. Read further to learn more about their relationship!
Teen Mom: Ryan Edward Has A New Girlfriend!
After years of having estranged relationships, Teen Mom alum Ryan Edwards has reportedly found his new love interest. He is now in love with Amanda Conner despite her alarming criminal history. They crossed each other’s path in the rehab over the summer.
As per TheSun, Ryan and Amanda share a serious bond. The source shared that they are happy and that Ryan has admitted to being in love with her. After completing twenty-eight days at the CADAS rehab in July, he was sent to the Oasis halfway house. Here, Ryan met his new girlfriend, and the two were snapped walking together in August.
Another source claimed, “This girl is dangerous.” A source close to Amanda previously disclosed that she is infamous in Chattanooga because of her bad girl reputation. They even declared her “trouble,” considering her frequent visits to the prison ever since she became eligible to catch a charge.
They also said that she is “not a good influence on Ryan.” The single mom has a history of charges dating back to 2009. She has since been in and out of the system several times. She entered the CADAS rehab after being arrested in June 2023 for driving under the influence and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Teen Mom: Ryan Edwards Reunited With Mackenzie!
Ryan Edwards was earlier married to his Teen Mom partner, Mackenzie. They have two kids, Jagger and Stella, together. Mackenzie recently visited him at the halfway house on August 15. They walked on the public sidewalks around the facility before she went back.
The former couple seem to have indulged in significantly intense conversations while performing the laps. Ryan and Mackenzie shared a few laughs besides getting involved in heated and sensitive conversations.
She wore her wedding ring, while Ryan did not wear a wedding band. He wore black shorts with a matching t-shirt, while Mackenzie styled her white tank top with black tights. However, the ex-couple communicated for quite a while but did not touch each other during the encounter.
However, after six years of marriage, Mackenzie filed for divorce on February 27 after his behavior turned “erratic and violent.” But she continued to extend her support to Ryan by visiting her in the rehab.
