When Maci first became a part of TV, she was in a relationship with Ryan Edwards. They even had a son, Bentley. But the relationship did not work out. However, Maci soon moved on. And now, she is happily married to Taylor McKinney, or so everyone thought.
MTV recently released the trailer for the new season of the Teen Mom spinoff ‘Family Reunion.’ It’s coming back on Wednesday, March 13. However, fans are more worried about Maci after seeing the trailer. They knew Maci and Taylor had been having issues in their relationship since Ryan’s arrest. In the new trailer, the relationship issues might be coming out in full form.
Fans saw Maci and Taylor visiting a couple’s therapist in the trailer. Maci was discussing the problems they were facing and broke down in tears. She had told the therapist that Taylor had made an unsavory remark about her parenting with their daughter Jade. All the while, Maci was holding back her tears.
Maci had revealed that Taylor didn’t “want his daughter to become the mother” Maci was. He didn’t want Jade to turn out like Maci. While the Teen Mom star spoke her heart out, discussing the marital issues, the therapist gave some sound advice. She advised Maci and Taylor to talk their issues out.
Teen Mom: Ryan’s Legal Troubles Also Trouble Maci & Taylor’s Relationship
In July, Maci revealed that Ryan’s run-ins with the law also affected her relationship with Taylor. She revealed that it often put them under the microscope as their relationship with Ryan had never been good. She also told DailyMail that it was very bad at times.
She had wanted to protect her son, Bentley, and to communicate, and “have a relationship with Ryan.” But Taylor was the one who had helped Maci raise Bentley. So they were having issues because of that. Maci had talked about learning to establish boundaries in the case.
However, with the new trailer, fans worry that Maci and Taylor’s relationship issues are worsening. They hope that their marriage doesn’t break down.
