After the first season, she never appeared in a spin-off, unlike her fellow castmates. Her face-off with the justice system continued at her recent court hearing.

As she was grief-struck, Whitney recalled the time Weston was born. She shared how it was a complicated birth. The Teen Mom was in the hospital the entire night.
She remembered that the medical staff gave her Pitocin to induce labor. After a point, her baby wasn’t getting enough oxygen, so the doctors had to have an immediate C-section. On June 2, 2025, Purvis confirmed that her son, unfortunately, passed away at the age of 16. In her public post, she shared a series of photos and added that he was only 16 years old, and life was very unfair and cruel to him.
Teen Mom star Whitney Port has had quite a challenging life after the show. Her life had been marked by several personal tragedies and legal challenges over the years. After the death of her first son, she subsequently spiraled beyond control and is now facing 7 felony charges. She is now facing upgraded charges of “aggravated involuntary manslaughter,” after her friend died after having the drug she distributed. Authorities have additionally charged her with four felony charges of “Illegal Use of a Communication Facility.” In her most recent court hearing, however, she had pleaded “not guilty” on all charges.
Now, she and her public defender requested a list of witnesses whose testimony led to the charges against her in the recent paperwork they filed. Moreover, the reality TV star has also requested copies of witness statements and demanded a copy of the search warrant that could affect her guilt or innocence.
